RMERC of the Missouri University of Science and Technology hires students to participate in research of many different disciplines. Most research carried on at the center is taken on with a multidisciplinary approach. Real world research requires input in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Geology, and many other fields.

The research process at RMERC allows students to make major contributions and to stretch their abilities on solving problems on an national and international level.
