Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center provides research services not only in the fields of rock structure, integrity, and fracture but in dynamics of explosive interaction with various geophysical strata. Additional research(and possibly the major focus of research) is in the applications of high pressure water to solve problems in fields as varied as nuclear waste removal and storage to processed food peroration.
