  • Millennium Arch Website

One of the newest projects that the Waterjet Lab has taken on is the creation of a new sculpture for the Missouri University of Science and Technologycampus. Known as the Millennium Arch, this sculpture will be one of many that will be made and placed around the world to form the Millennium Circle. This project is a little different then the rest of the projects here at the Waterjet Lab, this one is part of a new plan to get high school students more involved in science. High schools can sign on and monitor progress through weekly reports.

In most cases the techniques they use are similar to those developed during the Second World War, and while there is considerable money being invested in new ideas none have yet been widely used.
