The University of Missouri High Pressure Waterjet Labratory is fortunate to have the expertise and leadership of several experts in the field.

 

In the field of Excavation and Cleaning, which includes Machine Design, Field Testing and the theories of jet cutting, the Center group is currently led by Dr. David Summers, Curators' Professor.

 

In the field of Experimental Waterjet Use, which covers the areas of System Design, tool development, and Industrial Use, the Center can rely on the invaluable experience of Dr. Grzegorz Galecki, Research Assistant Professor.

 

Research Specialist Bob Fossey supervises work in the Audio Visual Lab of the Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center. His responsibilities include coordinating research activities, preparing reports and developing presentations.

 

Research Engineer John Tyler supervises the electronic engineering shop in the Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center. He is responsible for instrumentation, controls, controls design, and miscellaneous design.

 

Jim Blaine heads the High Pressure Waterjet Lab Shop, where he supervises the design, maintinece and construction of all matter of equipment used in experimentation, development and field work.
